Coyne’s tenure as Head of Capital Markets at Benjamin Securities, Inc. highlights his ability to build businesses from the ground up. He established and expanded the firm’s capital markets division, launching trading, advisory, underwriting, and exchange-listing capabilities. Under his leadership, the platform supported more than 200 companies in accessing U.S. public markets and achieved significant revenue growth through scalable execution. Prior to this, as Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Ingalls & Snyder, he developed a comprehensive capital markets platform for a multibillion-dollar investment advisor, becoming the firm’s top revenue producer while expanding syndicate and underwriting operations across equity and fixed income markets.
Earlier in his career at Capital Integration Systems (CAIS), Coyne advanced rapidly into a leadership role, ultimately serving as Head of Equity Syndicate. There, he led complex equity placements, including IPOs and structured transactions, while significantly increasing secondary market activity. His ability to combine technical expertise with business development contributed to the firm’s expansion into new markets and products. Across each stage of his career, Coyne has maintained a consistent focus on execution, scalability, and client alignment.
Complementing his business achievements is his background as a U.S. Army National Guard officer, where he developed leadership skills under high-pressure, mission-critical conditions.
